Chantal & Mathieu’s Wedding – Moncton Wedding Photographer

It was windy, it rained and it was cold. Hurricane Earl was hitting Moncton that day. However, the day was like any other wedding day: full of love, happiness and excitement.

As I arrived at Chantal and Mathieu’s house where all the girls were getting ready, the rain was holding off pretty well and everyone thought we would be lucky. Just as the girls were putting on their dresses, guess what? The rain and the crazy winds started! Everyone knew that it would take more than rain from stopping the day to go as planned. Despite the weather, everything came together and everyone had a great time. See for yourself!

I can’t tell you enough how much I LOVE when my clients decide on a First Look. It’s soooo much more special seeing your bride-to-be or groom-to-be for the first time in a private corner where you get to have a few minutes to yourselves. When you see each other for the first time at the ceremony, you don’t get to enjoy that moment as much since the ceremony starts right away. Plus, who says “tradition”!? One of the reason’s I was very excited for this wedding was because it was being held at a venue where I had never shot before. La Teraz, located on Church Street in Moncton, is a great place to hold your intimate wedding ceremony and reception.  A perfect setting for anyone who wants that backyard feel with all the services and luxury of a big venue.
