Secret Sunset Proposal | Moncton Photographer

When Lucas contacted me to see if I could capture his proposal to Renee, of course, I said yes and I was absolutely excited to do so! We worked out the plan a few days before and on that evening, I made my way to the Aboiteau Beach in Cap-Pele. Initially, I thought I would blend in amongst other people walking on the beach, but given the chilly evening, no one was in sight! I did my best to pretend taking sunset photos as they stepped out onto the beach, but I later learned that Renee was totally on to us. I think the fact that Lucas sent her not one, not two but three bouquets of flowers at work, planned a nice dinner after work, followed by a walk on the beach kinda gave it away! Of course, she was very excited and still surprised as Lucas recited a nice poem, got down on one knee and pulled the ring out and popped the big question. Needless to say, Renee said “yes” and after a moment of them enjoying what had just happened, I approached them to introduce myself and congratulate them. We then took advantage of the beautiful evening light to capture a new chapter in their lives that is about to start!
