Vanessa & Nicholas – New Year’s Eve Wedding | Moncton Delta Beausejour

What a great way to end what has been a hell of an amazing year! My plan is to do a recap of 2014 in a future blog post, so I’ll leave that as is for now.

It’s always fun to see when couples enjoy themselves on their wedding thanks to a stress free day. When I arrived at the Delta Beausejour in Moncton, Vanessa and the girls were sitting, chatting, laughing and getting pampered. How else would you want to spend your wedding day morning? Of course, nothing was too stressful with the guys either. It rarely is and this was no different.

Having their ceremony at 1:30pm gave everyone lots of time to get ready without being rushed and leaving lots of time in the afternoon for photos and driving around in the limo! Plus, the limo came in handy during the photo portion of the day. You see, it was cold. Very cold. Like minus 30 cold. The bridal party could run in and out of the toasty limo to get just warm enough before they’d run out again for a few more snaps!

Despite the lack of snow, which Vanessa was really hoping for (she chose a winter wedding for that exact reason), the day went without a hitch and everyone had a great time from what I could see and hear. I know I did! As soon as we were approaching midnight, the dance floor was packed and you could feel the energy and anticipation. The countdown begins and everyone is screaming, followed by clapping and a bit of quiet – people must have been kissing their better half!

With this being said, I’d like to wish everyone a very happy new year. May your year be filled with happiness and health!
And of course, a special congratulations to Vanessa & Nicholas on your beautiful “winter” wedding!
