Jenny & Justin’s Wedding at Riu Varadero – Moncton Photographer

Last March, I had the pleasure of capturing Jenny & Justin’s traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony when they legally got married in his parent’s living room. Jenny & Justin offered tea to their family members, who in return offered them well wishes for their life together. The ceremony was intimate and meaningful and it was such an interesting experience for me.

Next up was the trip to Cuba. A group of around 35 people made their way to the beautiful Riu Varadero Resort & Spa in Varadero, Cuba. Mid way through the week came the wedding day and here too I got to experience new traditions that were a joy to capture (not to mention all the laughs along the way!).

Once Jenny was all ready, she put on her Chinese wedding dress for a few photos then slipped into her gorgeous white gown. Before the groom could see his bride-to-be, himself and the groomsmen had to perform a series of tasks, or door games, in order to prove the groom can have the bride. Following the door games, Jenny & Justin had another short tea ceremony since some family members could not attend the first one.

The rest of the day went on perfectly with a beach ceremony and a fun reception filled with more games and even more laughs. I’ll spare the details, but for anyone who was present, they know what I  mean! 😉

Thanks again Jenny & Justin for allowing  me to join you on this amazing trip that I know no one will forget!
