Engaged: Monelle & Chris

A few weeks ago, Monelle left me a message on my voicemail saying she wanted to book a date for her and Chris’ engagement photos. When I called her, I was expecting she would want to book when it gets warmer and nicer outside. I was thinking around the end of April or May. Then she said, “how about March 20th?”. I was surprised when she said such an early date! I was thinking “brrrrr”!

Last Saturday came, and the weather was perfect! It was a bit chilly when we got on the “Île-aux-Puces” at the Pays de la Sagouine in Bouctouche, but after a while, the sun came out and it was great! The location was just awesome! It’s full of small houses, painted in a variety of color, which made for some lovely backgrounds!

Monelle and Chris brought along their dog for a few shots at the beginning of the session. He then returned to the truck where he waited patiently until we were all done!

We then saw the stage where performances are held during the summer. What a great location to work with! This was Monelle and Chris’ idea and it turned out pretty awesome! One of my favourite shots of the session!

I know this was a long post with a bit more images then usual, but I couldn’t stop myself! There were just too many good shots! You guys were great to shoot and I really enjoyed the afternoon! I can’t wait for the wedding, which is this coming August! The reception will be held at this location, so hopefully we get a chance to sneak in on the island again for a few shots of the married couple!
