Janelle & Alain’s E-Session

A few weeks ago, I had the chance to meet with Janelle and Alain to shoot their Engagement Session at the Irving Park in Bouctouche. Even though it was my third time at the park in the last few weeks, I got the chance to take some pictures at a few different places since it was cloudy. While some people think the sun is a great thing, us photographers don’t always agree! It’s usually not a problem though at the Irving Park since there are so many trees. Plus, the location is so beautiful, it’s easy to find a spot which will make some great shots!

Janelle and Alain are getting married next July and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding! They are getting married at the Royal Oaks Golf Club in Moncton and I just know it’s going to be gorgeous!

Ok, I can’t stop laughing when I see this picture! We wanted to try a “throwing leaves” shot…. it was pretty much a failure! There was a bit of wind and the leaves just didn’t want to do what we wanted. Out of all the shots I took, I managed to find one that isn’t too bad! Anyway, we had quit the laugh trying to get a good shoot!

And now for a different style… I am not one to use textures on my images and apply heavy post-processing techniques. However, the only way I could get this shot to work was to apply a texture. Many photographers have this vintage, faded, old feel style, which seems to be a growing trend. I think it looks great, even though my normal style is completely the opposite of this one!
