Margot & Mathieu’s Memramcook Wedding – Moncton Photographer

From the day I met Margot and Mathieu for our initial consultation, I was excited to shoot their wedding. Margot just knows how to light up a room with her amazing smile and fun personality. And we can’t forget Mathieu, with his cool and calm personality.

These two are meant to be together and it was obvious throughout their engagement session and wedding day. They smile together, laugh together and simply enjoy life together.

Here is a small glimpse into their wonderful wedding day, surrounded by great friends and family.

Christine & Conrad’s Memramcook Engagement session – Moncton wedding photographer

Christine and Conrad are getting married in Moncton this coming September so we spend last Sunday evening hanging out and taking some engagement photos. We had planned on shooting  while the flowers were in full bloom at the Belliveau Ochard in Memramcook, but it seems we were just a few days too late. Come to find out, it only last a very short time! It was still a beautiful place with some flowers left and still made for a nice location.

Lise & Rejean’s Future Inns Moncton Wedding – Moncton Photographer

With this post, I am finally up to date with my blogging! This was my last wedding of 2011 (actually had a NYE wedding, but that has been posted already). I’m very pleased to present Lise and Réjean’s wedding! The day could not have gone any better and we were lucky to have some nice weather for an end of October wedding.

Having an evening ceremony, the couple decided on a first look. I just love when my clients decide to see each other before the ceremony. Not only does it give more time for photos, the reactions captured are priceless. Plus, with such a sweet couple, I knew the photos would turn out amazing!

My trip to Greece

Some of you may have noticed that I was away from the office last week. I was actually on vacation in Greece for 10 days and what an amazing trip it was.

The Greek islands were certainly way up high on my “bucket list”. From the first time I saw photos of those small white houses built directly on the cliffs (calderas), I was attracted by this destination and knew I had to visit one day.

After 4 flights and over 30 hours of traveling time, we finally arrived on the island of Santorini and this was our destination for the next 3 days. I can’t even begin to explain how amazing the views are on this volcanic island. While the pictures may give you an idea, there is nothing like standing there and seeing it for yourself. During our stay in Santorini, we climbed an “active” volcano, hiked a 3 hour cliff-side journey from Fira to Oia and finally had diner overlooking the famous sunsets of Oia.

After a quick ride on a high speed ferry, the island of Mykonos was our home for the next few days. This island is known for its numerous beaches and busy nightlife – and lots of wind! During our stay we relaxed on a beautiful blue watered beach, visited the Island of Delos and strolled the maze that are the streets of Mykonos Town!

Finally, our last destination was the capital of Greece: Athens. We only had one day here, so we decided to visit the Parthenon at the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. It’s  incredible that this structure has been there since the 4th century B.C. and still stands to this day! The museum holds lots of original pieces from the ancient Greek civilization in a modern building.

From trying new foods, to the breath-taking views and the amazing people we’ve met (hi Leah & Justin!), this trip was an unforgettable experience worth every minute (and penny!).

These are some of the shots I took during our time away. There is no particular order or anything… just some of my favourites! Enjoy!
