Beach Trash the Dress session – Moncton Photographer

Last week I got the chance to participate in a Trash the Dress field trip with a group of local photographers. We shot at different locations, starting slowly without getting the models into too much dirt/water but by the end of the night the models were in the water at the beach!

I’ve had a few clients express their interest in Trash the Dress/Day after session (whatever you want to call it!) but this was the first time I’ve actually shot one and it was a lot of fun!

Come on brides, let’s “trash” those dresses!

PS – I hate calling these “trash the dress”. I much prefer “day after session” as you don’t have to trash your dress. You might get a little dirt on them, or get them wet but nothing that can’t get dry cleaned!

Also, a big thank you to our wonderful models: Alexandre & Lee-Ann! (Jennifer was also a model but I didn’t get a chance to photograph her during this portion of the session.) I have more shots for this session (non-trash the dress) and might share them with you all at a later time!

Julie and Samuel’s Pink and Pearls Wedding – Moncton Photographer

While I never feel like I’m working on a wedding day because I’m having so much fun, this wedding felt even less like work and more like hanging out with good friends. Both my sister and her husband were in the wedding party and lots of other familiar faces could be spotted in the crowd.

Julie planned an amazing “pink and pearls” wedding and it really represented her personality. Everything was bright and cheerful, just like her. I prepared this small blog post of images to show you a glimpse into their special day. Enjoy!

Melanie & Andre’s Casino NB wedding – Moncton Wedding Photographer

The day started out with a bit of panic regarding the weather.  The last few days leading up to the wedding, the weather was calling for rain and thunder showers and that just plain sucks for a wedding day! While the sun was nowhere in sight that morning, it seemed as if the rain was going to hold off… that is until I took the dress out of the tree after getting that first shot bellow! However, like most weddings, mother nature cooperated and the rain stopped just in time for the first look.

I have to say, Melanie was a bit sceptical about having a first look when I first met them over a year ago. However, after explaining the numerous benefits (not to mention it would have been way too rushed doing the photos after the ceremony), Melanie was excited about the first look and couldn’t wait to see Andre during that private special moment. It gave us lots of time for photos and once the ceremony was done, they  managed to enjoy a few hours with the wedding party, have a quick bite and take advantage of that huge limo! She even confirmed it was a decision she was happy she made!

Emily & Manuel’s Crowne Plaza Wedding – Moncton Photographer

With busy wedding season in full swing, I find it difficult to take the time and get some blog posts ready. I take up all my time editing and processing the couple’s photos so I can return them as fast as possible. However, I really enjoy sharing these beautiful weddings with you all, so today I took the time and got some of my favorite shots from Emily and Manuel’s wedding.
